Cindy sent me a picture of her finished baby leaf tailed dragon from last year’s kit. Isn’t he adorable? I love the job she’s done on his face, and his lovely curly leaves

My interests range from ancient greek to tudor periods, and I tend to be an artisan rather than an academic - not that I don't do research, I just prefer getting my hands dirty.
I dye, spin, weave, sew and embroider, and have been doing so for several decades...

Thanks! I had the best time working with this cute creature, and with the wonderful materials. The instructions were great and I learned a lot. — Cindy
I’m glad he got a good home
Oops, better get on with mine! He is gorgeous though and such a cute face!
cracks whip
He’s totally sweet!
isn’t he though?
Isn’t he an absolute poppet!
he certainly is
He is adorable!!! (Bookmarked for later too). So beautifully worked too. I am constantly amazed by the results from such a limited palette.
I’ve really learned to love the limited pallete thing, I always found the range of colours in things like dmc thread quite daunting
He’s lovely. I like the wing leaf, particularly. When he lifts it there ought to be a flower or fruit or something underneath.
whatever is under there I’m sure he will be surprised by it
