Small wol of dubious provenance
I’m fairly certain he’s from the Lutrell psalter, I think the egg-sitter was the only creature I used from an alternate source. Unfortunately though I seem to have lost my notes on him from the project folder so I was left with just his outline on the cloth.
I have had two shuffles through the book recently, mainly to plan the next piece, but I didn’t find him. The psalter is so busy I think I’d hesitate to ever go searching for one specific thing. I’ve been looking recently for bits I want to use next, but the trouble is there’s so much good stuff I end up making notes for each page. When I come to draft the next piece I think it will be case of using whatever I open a random page to, a sort of embroidery bingo?
I love the idea of embroidery bingo – great fun!
Am not sure when I get full house though?
Dance around the house to a salterello?
Th at would certainly annoy gareth

Smartarse!
I’ve been a long-time follower … so I’ve learned from the best!
Yup, takes one to know one
Hi Tanya, I can’t wait to see the finished piece. Are all the figures from the psalter or are they inspired by it?
All apart from the egg sitter are Lutrell. Am hoping to finish by summer
I like the mouse and am worried about his prospects.
So is he
I suspect the mouse has a limited future…
Soooo nice to see that the cleverest animal in the forest could even spell his name then — WOL .
He has excellent career prospects in the exciting new field of owl pellet optimisation
The owl is a hoot.
You couldn’t resist, could you?
