I didn’t do much this weekend…

…just some doodling, really

And that was really all I did

photo courtesy of gareths new digital slr, because my mobile phone couldn’t make head nor tail of it.

I hvae to work from bottom to top, I just can’t draw downwards for some reason, so I had to leave gaps for the music and then come back once I’d drawn all of the pictures. I failed to get any help from someone who could actually read medeival music, but I identified one song in the psalter that seemed relatively short and had a distinct beginning and end, so I used that without any idea what it sounds like.

Fortunately I’m pretty certain I transcribed the notes without any of n=my usual scribal errors.

Unfortunately I only managed to fit in the first two thirds of the song – oops!

I better go and strip the masking tape off it and move the six foot piece of plywood out of the living room now, it’s been getting on Gareth’s nerves

  1. F

  2. Wish I could doodle as well as that!

  3. I presume no one is going to try to sing from your embroidery, so the missing third shouldn’t really matter – should it?

  4. They could hum? I’m totally in awe of your ability to make your imagination manifest in this way. Fantastic.

  5. Love the guitar player sticking her tongue out – and her eye make-up rocks!
