sunday shirts

Happy easter, everyone. I had to adult this morning and tax my van online, but at least there were tiny chocolate bunnies for breakfast.

Unsurprisingly, Gareth got a couple of shirts for easter, although they aren’t particularly easter themed.

Theres one with black and white kitties, because a man can never have too many kitty shirts.

I had to do that one for easter because the black and white is just so crisp and summery that it would have been wrong to leave it until Christmas. I particularly like the wiggly pinstripe, which spells “meow”.

And Branston supervised to make sure I put the buttons on correctly

This fabric was bought on our valentines day trip to the fabric shop in Harrogate, and he’s mentioned several times how much he liked the fabric, so I figured out that he wanted this one sooner rather than later. He says he’s going to wear it on Tuesday when he goes out walking with his friend Andrew, who grows all the grandad flowers mentioned on the labels.

And I knew those little pewter flower buttons would come in handy eventually. ( I know antique gold would have toned better, but Gareth won’t wear gold, he think’s it’s chavvy)

  1. Love the idea of a pinstripe saying “Meow”!

    Gareth has Opinions, doesn’t he…
