And a big hand for…

I had to include this round of applause when I found it, because it’s important to observe the social nicities.

And also becuase that there is one utterly bizzare piece of marginalia.

Then again, maybe he’s only clapping to scare that blasted magpie away from his crops – who knows?

In a related vien, I am going to Jethro Tull 50th anniversary gig tonight, at Newcastle City Hall, which has always been one of my favourite venues. Gareth called me a pervert because I’m going with my mum, who was at one thier first ever gigs at the Argus Butterfly pub in Peterlee in 1968.

  1. Marginalia are so wonderfully bizarre!

I hope and your Mum have a great time at the gig!

    • we did, they did loads of things I’ve never seen live before. Then my mum bitched all the way home because when they did locomotive breath as the encore the lightshow brough up picture of american trains not english ones (not there’s an autistic streak in my family or anything)
