faces and bishops

I’m running a couple of online classes, starting soon.

the lonest one (ten classes) is an opusanglicanum faces masterclass

There will be five faces, a lady (to show the most basic type of face) an old man (to study age) profile, an evil doer and a green man/frontal face

there’s also a laid adn couched work course – shorter and aiming to finish by christmas – for this cute little bishop with holly and ivy. It’s on a smaller scale than usual, and worked in fine silks with some gold for sparkle(I did recently stumble across some very late medeival laid and couched work with gold edges), and there will be a full alphabet provided in pdf form at the end so that you can write your own christmas greeting down the side.

The silks are not quite the same shades as the inks shown here, but they are lovely and jewel bright – very cheery

and I shall have a chelles updates in a day or so
