

I wanted to use the same pinks as the maiden for the mother’s dress, for a sense of continuity, but I’ve balance the mix towards the darker shades for a sense of maturity

Good idea. I also particularly like the hand on the toddler’s shoulder. She’s clearly stopping child from investigating what the dog is doing!
